Connect Microsoft 365
Sign in with your Microsoft account, grant consent and choose which Outlook, calendar and file tools your agent may use.
What you need
- A personal Microsoft account or a work/school account with Microsoft 365.
- Access to the mailbox, calendar and files you want to use with the agent.
- A Qosie agent to which you can assign the required Microsoft tools after connecting.
Connect your account
- 1
Open Microsoft 365 under Connections
In Qosie, go to Connections → Microsoft 365 and click Connect my Outlook.
- 2
Sign in to Microsoft
Choose the Microsoft account whose mailbox you want to connect. Check which account is active if you use multiple accounts.
- 3
Review and accept the permissions
Microsoft shows which data Qosie may use. Review this list and only approve it when it matches your organization's policy.
- 4
Assign tools to your agent
Open your agent and select only the required tools, such as Outlook mail or Outlook calendar. Choose Microsoft 365 as its data source.
- 5
Test the connection
Ask the agent about recent email or your calendar and verify that it only uses information from the connected account.
Available capabilities
The tools assigned to your agent determine which capabilities are available:
- Read and search Outlook messages
- View calendar events
- Find OneDrive files
- Use Microsoft profile information
If connecting fails
You don't need to configure an Azure app, client ID, client secret, redirect URI or environment variables. Qosie manages the central Microsoft connection.
- Does Microsoft request administrator approval? Contact your Microsoft 365 administrator; some organizations block external apps by default.
- Connected the wrong mailbox? Remove the connection in Qosie and reconnect using the correct Microsoft account.
- Are new permissions missing or is the token no longer working? Reconnect so Microsoft can request consent again.
